Medianoche has been described as appearing in the New York City burlesque scene “out of nowhere, fully formed, like Athena from the head of Zeus”. Born and raised in southern Spain, trained in flamenco and tango dance — she brings a recognizably unique flavor of tease to venues all over New York City. Her red pheasant feathers and sparkling flower petals regularly grace the stages of Duane Park, Morningside Church, the Philadelphia Museum of Art, the Triad Theatre, and Galapagos Art Space – as well as being a staple at Wasabassco Burlesque shows.
Medianoche has charmed audiences in New Orleans and Texas as a member of Dita von Teese’s Strip Strip Hooray! cast; and dazzled Canada with the World Famous Pontani Sisters. She has also performed in the New Orleans Burlesque Festival, the New York Burlesque Festival, Viva Las Vegas 15, and will be competing for Best Debut at the Burlesque Hall of Fame in June 2012.
In her spare time, Medianoche designs and creates costumes for performers; and dances Argentine tango professionally in theaters and ballrooms across New York and Philadelphia.
